That's a good first step, but beyond just saving them as SVG, which is important, it would be great to have instructions on how they were made: what software was used? How can one create a new, updated version when the data changes? For example, see http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Images_with_Gnuplot_source_code - these pictures can be recreated easily.
