So at the marketing session we covered what we thought were the 3 major
features/focus points to talk about when marketing foresight.

Here are the focus points we had:

1) Community: Easy to contribute, Friendly
2) Work with Upstream: No Re-branding, Minimal patching, Upstream Live Media
3) Conary: Rolling Release, Sane Updates, Smaller Updates, Rollbacks,
Quickly Package Software

We also talked about how we currently handle marketing which is done as a
draw people in conference type marketing and how we can improve our current
conference strategy.

Here are our suggestions:

1) Create materials to have at booth: Banner, Flyers, Stickers
2) Attend Conferences outside US: LugRadio UK, FOSScamp, GUADEC, AKADEMY
3) Sell Installable Media (Something cheap like $1)

We also talked about being proactive to reach out to groups for additional
marketing.

Here were our ideas:

1) Create a press kit to send to magazines, websites and podcast: Contain a
brochure about Foresight and installable media
2) Reach out to local LUGs and various user groups and offer to give
presentations on Foresight

We also talked about improving the current infrastructure of the marketing
team.

Here are our ideas:

1) Create a user map similar to Ubuntu, GNOME, etc
2) Monthly meetings on the same date and time each month
3) Post our meetings on the Foresight google calendar

We also generated a task list:

1) Create booth marketing materials
2) Create press kit
3) Create list of press kit recipients
4) Create a standardized presentation template

If you have any comments or feel I left something out please let me know.
