Hi, Are you sure those glyphs are in the fonts you are using specified in your xconf file? Do you get any warnings similar to the following?
WARNING: Glyph "ͧ" (0x367) not available in font "Helvetica". WARNING: Glyph "ɩ" (0x269, iotalatin) not available in font "Helvetica". If so I would double-check the fonts to confirm they contain the necessary characters, or use an alternate font.
