I don't want to upset the people working on Fluidsynth, so for Gleam
related stuff it's probably best if people use
gleamsynth-de...@lists.sourceforge.net (it's the Contact link on the
Gleam website) or mail me directly.

But please, if anyone here has had trouble building or using Gleam I
would appreciate it *a lot* if you could tell me about it.  Come on,
it doesn't take long :-)

Jimmy, building the releases from source (as opposed to building a SVN
checkout) should basically just require GCC and Python 2.5.  Building
from SVN has a few more dependencies but I develop using KUbuntu
(currently Jaunty) and installing them has never been too painful for
me.  Can you provide more info on which sources you tried to build
(release or SVN) and what problems you met?  Many thanks in advance.
