There's also the issue that anything inside an airport boundary (defined 
in the AirportArea tree) is cut out and discarded when generating 
scenery. Anything inside that boundary *must* be handled by genapts.

I've seen screenshots of lines cut into the airport geometry, which 
looked extremely good. Perhaps the person responsible for those could 
provide some details on how it was done, with a view to possibly 
integrating it into genapts. (I'm sorry, I can't remember who was 
working on it).
