Hi,
I'm the author of the zkv500 instrument, even if you get it from CVS (it
is included in base package from FG 1.9.0), I can't tell it will work
for sure with FG 1.0.0. BTW, and I say loudly that I don't think it is a
good idea for compatibility reasons, you could simply withdraw the
zkv500 dependancies by removing (or commenting) the following tags:
- in dhc3-base.xml:
<zkv500>
<file>Aircraft/Instruments-3d/zkv500/ZKV500.nas</file>
<file>Aircraft/Instruments-3d/zkv500/MainScreens.nas</file>
<file>Aircraft/Instruments-3d/zkv500/TurnpointScreens.nas</file>
<file>Aircraft/Instruments-3d/zkv500/TaskScreens.nas</file>
<file>Aircraft/Instruments-3d/zkv500/AirportScreens.nas</file>
</zkv500>
(there is no need to include all these files though to include the
zkv500 in an aircraft, read the zkv500 manual included, at installation
part)
- in Models/Interior/Panel/panel.xml:
<!-- GPS -->
<model>
<path>Aircraft/Instruments-3d/zkv500/ZKV500.xml</path>
<offsets>
<x-m> 0.090 </x-m>
<y-m> -0.169 </y-m>
<z-m> 0.457 </z-m>
</offsets>
</model>
then this instrument won't "annoy" you anymore for launching the dhc3
(but other problems could still occur using FG 1.0.0 with this aircraft).
I say it again: I don't think it is a good idea.
