I am experiencing a significant drop (> 70 FPS to 1-2
FPS) in framerate which happens only after fgfs has
been runnnin for 4-5 minutes. I recently installed FG
on a Lenova T60 running Fedora Core 6 and with an ATI
X1300 card. I installed all programs (RPMs) through
yum. My hardware (2GB RAM, 2.8 GHz Duo Core) should be
producing decent rates, I would think. glxgears shows
over 3200 FPS.
This may not be related, but I noticed that the
framerate changes alot when I zoom in or out. When
sitting on runway for several minutes, I noticed the
framerate drop from 70 FPS to around 3, but when I
zoomed in (overzoom) the framerate went up alot.
In the past I always compiled from CVS checkout. This
install was MUCH easier, but something is not right.
Hope it not related to ATI card....
