I have a trouble installing "regina-normal-4.90-0.1" on my Mac (MacBook Pro
Intel Core i5, running on OS X 10.6.8, with fully updated Developer Tools).
I have Fink source release 0.31.4 on my Mac, with the unstable tree
enabled, and fully updated with "fink selfupdate" and "fink update-all"
etc. I believe Fink has already downloaded all the packages needed for the
build, except for a small package called "regina-normal4.90-0.1-shlibs".
When I try to install Regina by "fink install regina-normal", it
downloads "regina-normal4.90-0.1-shlibs" and starts the build right away.
After 5 minutes or so, at the very end when it runs the test suites that
comes with the regina-normal packages, it always fails every python-test
(test 1). All the cpp-tests (test 2) pass. Then, the build halts. Excerpts
of error messages on Terminal is provided following this message for anyone
who's willing to look at it and help me with it.
What exactly is going wrong? Do I have to configure fink slightly
differently? Is there some packages that I would have to download or
re-download? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
