That should do it. gmp uses gcc-4.2, and that isn't available in Xcode-3.0.
I installed Xcode 3.14 and the build seems to be moving along thus far. I'll let you know how I make out.
Assuming that the build finishes successfully, then I can just run gimp2 from the command line, after starting the X11, correct?
