Hi Alex and Martin,
I want to, first, say thanks for helping me to get Fink up and running.
Another issue that has cropped up, however, is that in upgrading to Fink
0.31.2, I can no longer download packages from the unstable branch. Though the
FAQ states that it is possible to do this by typing "fink configure," fink
configure states otherwise: "As of the OS X 10.7 distribution, fink no longer
has a separate "unstable" tree. All development and releases happen in the
'stable' tree, the only public tree that exists."
But, it's still not displaying the entire list of available packages. For
instance, I would like to download the package ccache, which the online package
database says is available; but, when I type fink list, I can't find it.
Any ideas as to how I can get it to display this package (or unstable packages
in general).
Thanks, again, for your help.
Sincerely,
Seth
