I agree with the idea, but it becomes a VERY unfair competition when one side 
enforces their "IP" rights beyond their legal rights (while ignoring any one 
else's) and the other side does nothing.
"What's mine is mine and what's yours is also mine" is not really competition.
From a quick read that seems to be the majority objection here...
