Allows for less resource utilization, no need to [re]configure fail2ban, more flexibility for development, as I cannot dedicate too much time. For actionban/actionunban, it would have costed more in terms of fail2ban load, a need to specify it per-jail, etc, etc. Just like what Sean said. Thanks!
