Miles,
Here is what I did. I got the latest stable pspell and aspell as
tarballs, gnome-spell from CVS and the Evolution .10 rpm from Ximian.
First, I compiled pspell, then aspell. I then went into the
pspell/modules directory and ran 'add-modules' which adds the aspell
support. Remember to use --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc on the
configure for both pspell, aspell and the autoconf.sh for gnome-spell.
After all that I compiled gnome-spell, and installed the Evolution rpm.
There is no need to recompile Evolution to get spell-check support. If
you have gnome-spell installed, Evolution will see it. One thing you may
notice is that misspelled words have a grey squiggly line beneath them.
You can change the colour of the line in the Gnome Control Centre, under
Document Handlers --> HTML Viewer --> Misc. Not to mention the Language
can be changed as well.
Good Luck!
