Hi,
the 2.36.x is not outdated, it's the current stable series of the
WebKitGTK. Unfortunately, it has some issues for some users, possibly
related to hardware acceleration.
Heinz, either downgrade WebKitGTK back to 2.34.6 or run Evolution from
a terminal as:
$ WEBKIT_DISABLE_COMPOSITING_MODE=1 evolution
