Hello All,

I've got a question about RAM compatibility.

Just aquired a 256 meg PC 133 CL2 stick for free but I'm not sure it will work
with my motherboard/chipset.

Picture comparisons tell me it's a 3.3 volt, Unbuffered DIMM.

I currently have two 128meg PC100 sticks in my box and the ASUS K7M
motherboard. Mboard manual says to use only PC 100 sticks so I'm not sure if
the 256 stick is backwards compatible and I'd prefer not to fry anything by
just sticking it in a slot and giving it a go!

Any help is appreciated, should you need any more info to help me just ask and
I'll be glad to provide it.

Thanks,
Nyal R. Cammack

The idea that Bill Gates has appeared like a knight in shining armor to lead
all his customers out of a mire of technological chaos neatly ignores the
fact that it was he who by peddling second-hand, second-rate technology, led
them all into it in the first place.
