I'm surprised how rarely this sort of thing comes up (reprocessing speed 
and its effect on usage of the product).  Do nearly all Ethereal users 
just tend to work with capture files of <50,000 frames?

Because every statistics item I open wil require a rescan of the capture
file.
When I want to open : SRT for SMB, SRT for NFSv2 SRT for NFSv3,
COnvList for UDP, Conv List for TCP
that is 5 rescans of the capture.
If the capture is 200MByte each recan of the capture takes a LONG time.

It is much faster to open the windows first and then loading the capture,
then it only scans the capture once.
