Just FYI - E has this built in without having to reserve pixels. edge bindings can be customised to do things like pop open menus when your mouse reaches a screen edge ... or when you click on that screen edge instead of just moving the mouse there. By default edge bindings are used to flip desktops. It's designed explicitly to allow this kind of flexibility. But that doesn't help you with E16... :) so e17,18,29,20,21,22,23... is a workaround... :) > Hi, > > How would one go about reserving a single pixel space at each of the screen > edges so no window is placed there automatically and the maximised windows > also respect that space as a no-go area? > > The idea is to have an easy access to the e-menu with a mouse click from > wherever your mouse may roam. > > Any suggestions, workarounds, ideas, etc. very much welcome, they might prove > useful. > > Thanks in advance. > > /SM > _______________________________________________ > enlightenment-users mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-users > -- ------------- Codito, ergo sum - "I code, therefore I am" -------------- Carsten Haitzler - [email protected] _______________________________________________ enlightenment-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-users
