For future reference, the elive_2.0_Topaz_new-kernel_up003.iso image ( the latest stable image on http://www.elivecd.org/ ) was the first distro that I tried ( including all of the distros in this thread ) that was able to open my .edj files. Thanks for the tips, everyone :)
