I'm trying to use two keyboards with two different layouts, but
Enlightenment gets confuse and the main keyboard becomes not fully-usable.
The second keyboard only has the keys '1' to '=' (the top-row) and I want
to remap that to F13 to F24, so I can use the second keyboard as a bunch of
shortcuts configured using Enlightenment.
To do this, I've added a /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/naga[1] and then I run:
setxkbmap -device $remote_id naga remote
The remote_id variable is found by a script to select only the second
keyboard and it is not important.
However, I cannot use the '1' to '=' keys (the top-row) from the main
keyboard after that. They seem to work (the terminal cursor blinks when I
type them), but nothing outputs. They don't map to the keys that my second
keyboard is using. I've tried to change the layout using the Enlightenment
GUI (I thought it could help), but I haven't found a way.
xbindkeys doesn't seem to help because it cannot filter keys from only one
keyboard.
In case someone is interested, my second keyboard is the Razer Naga 2014.
