as such all gadgets do the same right click for usability reasons- they
universally behave the exact same way - right click is the "control/configure
this gadget" and it's handled in the core gadget code so each module that
creates a gadget doesnt bother - it does provide callbacks for some of those
menu entries though.

no. it was designed with "user is king" - not as a kiosk. you'd have to do
serious work in modules and more to make this not the case. it was designed
with "if you happen to delet all your selves etc. etc. etc." there is stil a
way to undo it and get back to being usable via the gui itself.
