Are you saying that this happens when pulseaudio is not working properly?

OK, I started pulseaudio from the console with '/usr/bin/pulseaudio --start'
and then started e. I found that there were two pulseaudio processes running
afterwards. So, pulseaudio is started regardless.
In any case, I found these errors in syslog:
