works for me. used e's input method setup. i always trigger input methods with
shift+space to toggle on and off (i change scim config to make it happen). note
that you may have to restart e to get everything to work fully and if you use
single instance or app server in terminology you'll need to close all instances
to get a fresh process to inherit the env var.
