If I've been reading this thread correctly, the problem is on boot, not
on E startup.  Bohdi is an Ubuntu derivative if I remember?  It's a
well known problem that started in Ubuntu 12.04 if I recall.  A bit of
searching in the Ubuntu site should turn it up.

If I recall, it mostly happens when upgrading to 12.04, and there are
devices in /etc/network/interfaces that may not be around.  But my
memory is vague, and it's not an E issue at all.  It also can be hard
to get rid of, I managed to get rid of it on all but my European
server, which thankfully is not rebooted that often.
