Am I correct in thinking then that the fonts section in the
settings panel (version E18) won't allow you to override the fonts
in an Elementary-based application?

For example, I write an ELM app, with some buttons, with text.

I open the font options in E's settings panel and make the fonts
larger, say.

But my app's button text size stays the same.

If I want to change it, I need to edit the "button.edc" file
in the edc/elm subdirectory of the theme file.

Subversion Kills Productivity. Get off Subversion & Make the Move to Perforce.
With Perforce, you get hassle-free workflows. Merge that actually works.
Faster operations. Version large binaries. Built-in WAN optimization and the
freedom to use Git, Perforce or both. Make the move to Perforce.
