On my laptop I plugged in an external monitor. Everything worked fine. However, when I disconnected the external monitor it didn't revert to a single monitor state. The windows that were on the external monitor are still offscreen and if I scroll off the screen in that direction the mouse disappears as if it's on the phantom screen. Only one monitor is shown under screen settings. Is there a way to manually go back to single screen mode?
