Hi all, Using E17 with Ubuntu 13.10, in case it makes a difference. I did not like Unity at all, and remembered E16 from when i had a linux desktop way back, so installed E17. I've only just gotten around to attempting to tweak settings, and i think i tweaked something i shouldn't have...
The problem is with pop-up notifications, and it's most noticeable with messages from Pidgin. Previously (before messing with settings) a notification of someone coming online, or telling me i had received a message, etc. would pop up in a semi-transparent window in the top right of the screen. It would slowly fade in, remain a few seconds, then fade out again. Now, instead, i get an actual window, complete with decorations, border, title bar, right in the middle of my screen that won't go away until i press the "OK" button. Could anyone point me to what setting (and where it is) or combination of settings i might have set wrong? I'd really just like to get the original, default behaviour back. Thanks! -Conrad. -- Whenever and wherever you want. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ CenturyLink Cloud: The Leader in Enterprise Cloud Services.
