Hi Jeff, I have dropbox installed and running for sometime. I don't use it actually, but I do have some issues.
As you say, I have it in 'connecting' and also I don't have the icon, but a BIG exclamation sign. I have it like this since the old E17.3, so it's been borked for quite some time now. Also, it seems to be working differently than my other icons because if I disabble the Xembed protocol, I loose all the icons except the Dropbox one.
