Hi,

This is regarding e17 - IIRC e18 has the same behavior.

There is something about the alt-tab window management that has
bothered me for years, but only now I realize what it is. When I alt-tab
through the available windows I have the setting that the windows should
be raised but not focused, so that windows which are (completely) behind
other windows can be seen. What has bothered me about this process is
that once a window is raised, it remains raised and above the other
windows even if I didn't select it eventually and only cycled through it.

My question is: is there any (combination of) setting which raises
the window when I am cycling through it but puts it back on to the
original window stack (for instance back to behind other windows) if I
do not select the window eventually? This works for minimized windows
where I can select the window to be shown and then it disappears if I
cycle through it.

   Thanks.
