Hello,
If one of you has the skill and will, it would be nice to try to
understand where enlightenment is currently blocked. You will need to
have all efl and e compile with CFLAGS that at least include "-g
-ggdb3". Then once it hang. Go in the console. There send SIGUSR1 to
enlightenment_start ('killall -USR1 enlightenment_start'). After that
attach gdb to the enlightenment process ('gdb -p `pidof
enlightenment`'). Once gdb is happily attached just ask it to give all
information about what is currently going on with : 'thread apply all
bt full' and send us its reply.
The reason I am asking is that none of the current developers of
Enlightenment has been able to reproduce the problem.
