Hi all,
I know from this mailing list that there are issues with E17 0.17.4, I just
wanted to inform you that I am affected too.
I've downloaded, compiled and installed the latest EFL and E17, but when I
start the wm all I get is a black screen and nothing in stderr.
Note that I start the wm from a terminal using xinit. My .xinitrc looks like
the following:
/usr/bin/pulseaudio --start --log-target syslog
export XDG_DATA_DIRS="/usr/share:/usr/local/share:$XDG_DATA_DIRS"
exec ck-launch-session enlightenment_start
If I use a brand new configuration directory, I am shown the wizard and after
that the wm starts OK, but I still get the black screen (with no errors) next
time I start E17.
E17 0.17.3 works without problems.
I will appreciate any suggestion, otherwise I guess I'll stick to 0.17.3.
