Okay, now that's just weird.  The systray module is part of
Enlightenment proper; it's not one of the Extras modules.  The
only thing I can think of is that you've got a "--disable-systray"
somewhere in your "./configure" call.

To get the current snapshots, go to  <http://enlightenment.org/>  and
click on the "DOWNLOAD E" button.  That will take you to the Download
page, which has buttons for downloading all the components of the EFL
and E.  These are all the latest snapshots for the stable version of
Enlightenment (EFL v1.7.7; E v0.17.3).  The page lists the proper
ordering for compiling the EFL and E, as well as the libraries that are
required or recommended for compiling.  (Remember that you'll need the
-dev/-devel versions of all those libraries.)

Given that you've been able to compile E before, that should be
enough to get you up and running with little or no trouble.
