Yes, I have udisks running:

 dbus-launch --exit-with-session /usr/bin/enlightenmen
 /usr/bin/dbus-daemon --fork --print-pid 5 --print-add
 /usr/libexec/udisks-daemon
  \_ udisks-daemon: not polling any devices

Yes, they start here at boot time too.  They have to in order to probe 
hardware devices.
