Yes, you need edbus (sometimes also called edbus2) for efreet now. Very 
recent addition. edbus is not a drop in replacement for e_dbus so you 
will need e_dbus and edbus for the time being. The complete switch to 
edbus is already prepared but waits for the e17 release before landing 
in svn.
