Well, I would never use compositor for more than a few minutes because on a
quad CPU and ATI card it was adding some latency (OK imperceptibly so) adding
some CPU load and I found the default wobbly windows annoying.

I also didn't like the mplayer window dimming down (or going semi-transparent)
when it lost focus.

However, selecting another style (or using the latest default which does not
wobble) does away with most of the annoying features for me.

Most importantly though, I now find that there is a very small difference in
CPU load when compositing is enabled and there is no latency. Therefore I
have switched compositing on. I'll keep an eye on battery usage when not
plugged in to see if it makes any noticeable difference.

If compositing continues to improve at this rate then I would have no
objection to it being a default feature.

Big thank you to Raster and devs for the good work with e17. :-)
