I've just tried but downgrading e/src/modules to rev 66218
(svn update -r 66218) with no luck cause e fails to build

whereas if downgrade all e to rev 66218
it builds fine and more importantly blank
screen goes away

I've no more time to dig further for today,
I hope that Leif will take care
of the issue in the meantime
