aaah oops. not gnutls - it was libgcrypt:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libgcrypt11/+bug/797566

i filed it with ubuntu. but its the same multiarch changes. but yes - old la
files pointing to a lib that has now moved will cause this problem too. here
the solution is to make sure you rebuild those libs or remove them.
