While I agree E17 needs to be released first....wouldn't be better launch it 
with a full user experience? such as "E wm + mail + browser + IM", ready for 
use, just 'plug and play!'

everybody know that are tons of email clients, web browsers , irc clients and 
all those things. But there are also lots of WM. Saying 'why doing that? there 
are already a lot' is kind of a stupid answer in open source world. Open source 
world has a lot of everithing....and people keeps creating more of those things 
anyway


I think both options are equally good, launchig E first or launching it with 
basic common apps. But different users (and probabley devs too) will have 
different opinions and tastes. We know everybody can't be please
