hello,

first off, i have known about E for some time but only recently tried
it... quite frankly it is beyond spectacular and has replaced other
environments on every machine i use :-)

now, i'm using the easy_e17 script on Archlinux. i have everything
compiling properly (with the exception of 1 or 2 things that look like
actual bugs). Elsa itself is also compiling properly. the elsa_test
binary works fine... but when i try to launch /opt/e17/sbin/elsa, it
runs, starts X, then exits normally (according to strace/gdb)... X
continues running with a black screen (default)

do i need to pass any options to Elsa? i decoded the [default] cfg
file w/eet and everything *looks* ok. i have the proper
LD_LIBRARY_PATH, PATH, PYTHONPATH exported, as other e17 applications
are running properly.

any pointers here? i've been scouring the net, but Elsa information
is rather scarce. I am adept enough to look for source problems, but
my C skills are not that strong.

any assistance much appreciated,

C Anthony
