It would appear that on Aug 4, Joe(theWordy)Philbrook did say:

Update: A related problem I almost forgot about has resurfaced. At
some point while I was experimenting I must have told e17 to
start something in a konsole window at login... I don't remember doing
so. I would be more likely to use something like this from my .xinitrc
for e17:
konsole --workdir ~/mail --name F2alpine --profile BlackGray -e alpine &
And then use window remember to place it on desk "1" WITHOUT checking
the "Start this program on login" option because I wouldn't expect
remember to capture and use the entire original command line including
the working directory, konsole profile, and terminal dependent
application arguments... But perhaps I accidentally did a remember on a
konsole one of the occasions I was trying to do something with
xclock...
But in any case for a while a default konsole session such as would result
if I used "<alt>+<F2>konsole<enter>" was spontaneously starting when I
"login" to e17 via startx.
**Note: I've bound <alt>+<F2> to exebuf
I didn't want this konsole session to start. I expressly didn't want it
cluttering up desktop "0" So immediately after login I opened the
'basic' remember dialog and selected "remember nothing" Apply, Close,
and then logged out... (heck the second time I tried to get rid of it
I even rebooted) But the next time I started e17, it was back. So I
tried something else. I moved it to desktop "5" on which I usually
open generic konsole anyway, and then used remember to tell it to
remember desktop size and position. I wish I could remember which
"remember using" settings I used for it. But I very specifically did
NOT select to "Start this program on login" because the last thing I
wanted was to wind up with two konsoles opening on desktop "0"
Well anyway this seemed to work for a week or so, I never minded
finding a konsole window on desktop "5" so I forgot about it. But
the very next time I rebooted and started e17 after starting this
thread, the generic konsole again began cluttering desktop "0" (and
was no longer found on desktop "5" anymore...) <sigh>
Since I have exactly two konsole commands in the .xintrc file, And
both are still appearing in their assigned desktops("1" & "11") with
their assigned applications ("alpine" & a bash script "medosumc")
running, every time I start e17, then I figure the only thing which
could be starting it is some old improperly formatted, or corrupted,
"window remember" command. But since the konsole that does open no
longer appears linked to the said remember data that must be starting
it, I have no idea how to tell e17 to stop remembering the durned
thing. <<HELP!>>
How can I fix this????
It occurs to me that since the config settings are in binary files,
then it's probably not possible to edit the list of remembered windows.
So as much as I don't want to have to redo all the "remember windows"
that are in fact, right where I want them, I'll probably have to
settle for how to purge all remember settings" Please tell me that the
remember window list can at least be purged without losing my key/mouse
bindings or other virtual desktop settings such as the 12 unique
background images & etc... (gawd I miss the e16 concept of human editable
configs)
Or perhaps there's even a way to simply tell it just to stop remembering
all "konsole" windows???????
Then I'd only have the two in my .xinitrc to fix instead of having
to start everything over from scratch again...
Oh yeah, and one more thing. If I ever do get my e17 remember settings the
way I want them, Which file(s) could I back-up somplace to restore the
good settings from if some future goof should corrupt them again????
