I just had a random idea, so I thought I'd share it.
Currently, the Send to Desktop menu lists the available desktops by
coordinates (0,0 1,0 etc.). Would it be more useful to present a
graphical representation of the desktop layouts, as seen in the Pager
module? This would make it much more intuitive to figure out exactly
where you'll be sending your window, especially if you can see what
windows are where.
I realise that this would mean that the Send to Desktop menu would no
longer be a simple line-by-line menu, and I also realise that support
for non-linear menus probably doesn't exist. As such, I expect that this
would be impossible to implement using the current code base. I just
thought it would be a neat idea.
Any thoughts?
