that can be achieved in standard theme by holding down middle mouse
button on desktop.  i'm pretty sure that you can somehow redefine
atl+tab to invoke the same function.

this reminds me of another related thing regarding windows list that i
don't know how to solve:

if i hold down middle mouse button and i have more than one window with
the same title, i would like to see them in stacking order, e.g.,
frontmost first and backmost last like some other window managers do.
instead standard theme shows the windows in the order they were
created.

any hints on this one?
