The Fedora one does (I think) some magic to avoid including the vera ttf files by linking to the ones provided by the bitstream-vera-fonts package. If possible I think this should be fixed in the Fedora rpm's. Otherwise I assume that "rm -rf /usr/share/e16/themes/winter/ttfonts" will fix the update.
