Thanks. I'm up and running.
I noticed one change that might help your notes. It is not necessary to put or link user desktop files in /usr... Ones my system, E found desktop files that I wrote and put under ~/.linux... I had thought KDE or Gnome was creating & using that for configuration, did not realize E was too. I see new command line options in edje_cc and have nearly perfected my plan to create edj files 'on the fly'. I noticed Slideshow will preview jpg files, but it won't put them on the background. I'll post soon. My biggest E conceern now is CPU usage. On a dual core pentium, my cpu usage is always above 30% on one core and its often that high on the other. I am afraid I've loaded too many modules, but can't tell where the problem is. Sometimes, the E config panels just 'hang' the whole display, and I'm not sure if it is 'thinking' or dead. After 5 minutes or so, I ALT-CTRL-Backspace out of it. PJ Thanks again, PJ > -- Paul E.
