Hi,

I see in the archives of the list that I'm not alone : I don't have any
applications in the applications menu.

I have a little googleize and I find lots of links on this subject, but
noting works for me :

http://wiki.enlightenment.org/index.php/E17_and_Efreet
In this one we see the environment variables that E17 uses. But how can
I get these environment variables on my laptop, in order to verify ?

In the "Distribution Specific Instructions" section, there is a trick
for Debian :
to do : sudo ln -s /etc/xdg/menus/debian-menu.menu
/etc/xdg/menus/applications.menu
I do : sudo ln -s /etc/xdg/menus/gnome-applications.menu
/etc/xdg/menus/applications.menu

but it doesn't work.

I try to copy this file in others folders like :
~/.e/e/applications/menu
~/.e/e/applications/menu/all
~/.local/share/applications

but I don't have any icons that appears in the menu...

I rename this file to ~/.e/e/applications/menu/favorite.menu and in this
case I see my menu.

Do you have an idea to fix it ?

Thx a lot
Regards,
GiGGz
