E17 is (was) running on Slackware 11 for around three months, fine. CVS-Updated loosely once a month with Mod-for-Slack original 'get_e.sh' script. (checks/perfom Slackware Update instead of Debian, module list updated for efreet). I am in Cambodia over a poor, slow Wimax connection @ 64kbps, working fine tonight. Cheers.
