I have a "feature request" about this :
Matrox does not have full accel with xinerama ON. Instead, you have
merged lame screen ; that just mean when you maximize a window, it will
spread on the three screens.
So I use xinerama to have a more acceptable behaviour.
The feature request must be the same as Daniel : can e behave "as if" it
was xinerama ? For instance :
You have just one screen.
You go to the "pseudo-xinerama options", and you have :
1024 x 768
You can split it into :
512*768 + 512*768
and you have 2 virtual screen on your screen. This enables you to use
the "maximize" button, and the window will just fill the "half" of the
screen (since it is a pseudo screen)
Of course, it is a weird behaviour when having one screen, but when you
*have to* "merge" the screens, it becomes more useful.
(and regarding backgrounds too !
Thanx to all of you for dev'ing E !
