I understand how to configure virtual desktops. The feature that I'm
looking for is how to create _multiple_ independent desktops. Each of
which have virtual desktops. This is how E16 was configured out of the
box. The mouse scroll wheel was used to flip between each independent
desktop. You could use edge-flip to switch between desktops 1-4 then
scroll the mouse wheel to jump to desktops 5-8.

This is a feature that can be used on a single monitor (without
Xinerama).

Virtual desktops alone only allow you to have a single matrix of virtual
desktops (configured however you want). I'm looking for the ability to
have multiple sets of matrices.

Thanks,
Brian

Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security?
Get stuff done quickly with pre-integrated technology to make your job easier.
Download IBM WebSphere Application Server v.1.0.1 based on Apache Geronimo
