Seems like it's like you said, had a look into it and
many (important) strings are simply missing.
Maybe you would publish yours in some way so others
could help in translating? Me, for example ;-)



And seems like i encountered some glitch in e17 build scripts:

    ...
    make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/shadow/rpm/BUILD/e17/po'
    test -z "bg.gmo ja.gmo ru.gmo hu.gmo sl.gmo it.gmo fr.gmo" || make
    bg.gmo ja.gmo ru.gmo hu.gmo sl.gmo it.gmo fr.gmo
    make[3]: Entering directory `/home/shadow/rpm/BUILD/e17/po'
    ...

This is a small excerpt of my e17 build log, and it shows that only
7 out of 22 possible .po files get processed and installed with e.
On what is that selection based? On completion of the files?
Could someone of the developers have a look into this?
