I don't see your point, for me switching from enlightenment to
enlightenment_start has been just a matter of changing a line in my
xinitrc, and I can tell you many times I've been in a situation
where I couldn't start e17 due to problems with current cvs.... no
problem, in the past I used to start another window manager and
upgrad my sources, now I prefer to save a copy of the old e17 so I
can easily switch to the one actually working.
I gues the right answer here would be "welcome to alpha code" :)
