Hi! Although this is not a direct E17 problem i'm sure many of you are using Debian. I just set up my box with Debian/unstable and wanted (of course) e17 on it. I found the e17 repository on edevelop.org and was really happy about it. but now when i do an apt-get i get the error msg "E: Package enlightenment has no installation candidate". An apt-cache search but tells me that there is an enlightenment package.
I added to my source.lst: deb http://edevelop.org/~kaethorn/ unstable main (also tried with deb http://edevelop.org/debian/ unstable main) and to my /etc/apt/preferences: Package: enlightenment Pin: version 0.16.999* Pin-Priority: 999 Package: enlightenment-data Pin: version 0.16.999* Pin-Priority: 999 The apt-get install i did: apt-get install enlightenment libevas0-all libevas0-engines-all libevas0-loaders-all emodules0* eterm Hope somebody could help me. Or is it anyway the better choice to install e17 directly from cvs? Didn't found an answer for me yet.
